Polo Resources Limited

In September and October 2008, GCM acquired 74,800,000 shares in Polo Resources Limited (Polo). Polo is an AIM listed mining and exploration group focused on investing in or acquiring and developing advanced stage uranium assets. It currently has an investment portfolio of uranium and coal interests, and 50% of a joint venture with Peabody Energy Corporation, formed to hold all of Polo's coal and uranium assets in Mongolia.

Polo owns 29.8% of the issued share capital of GCM and Stephen Dattels, who is the Executive Chairman of Polo, is a Non Executive Director of GCM.
